Last week Friday the Jamaica Paralympics Associaiton unveiled the Cauldron Petal from the 2012 London Olympics at the Norman Manley International Airport. At the event the President of the Association, Christopher Samuda announced plans to aggressively seek funding to support athletes for the Parapan American Games in Toronto, Canada next August and the 2015 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships to be held in Doha, Qatar in October.

He expressed extreme gratitude to those who have been contributing, but says that more needs to be done.
