At King’s House in St Andrew, Deputy Governor General Steadman Fuller held a celebration on Monday that included representatives from the Jamaica Paralympic Association (JPA), the Americas Paralympic Committee (APC), and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Everyone in attendance thought the courtesy call, which began at 10:00 am and lasted for around 20 minutes, was beneficial.
JPA President Christopher Samuda told the Jamaica Observer, “It went very well, very well.” “The governor general had a thorough briefing, and aside from the brief, he is a knowledgeable individual about the Paralympic movement. His connections to the Paralympic movement have been indirect.”
According to Samuda, the group talked about the potential growth of the Paralympic movement.
