President of the Jamaica Paralympic Association (JPA) and Secretary of the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) Christopher Samuda signed an MOU with the President of the Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) Godfrey Lothian at a press conference held at the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre, University of the West Indies (UWI), Paralympics Club House, yesterday.

This will see the the JTTA training provide coaching and training for Paralympic athletes with a view to seeing them transition to the international stage and, hopefully, win medals at the Paralympics in table tennis. The goal is to be ready for the 2020 Paralympics in Japan which is an important benchmark. While the 2020 Paralympics are 4 years away, planning is needed stated Mike Fennel, JOA President.
