International Paralympic Committee President to Make Historic Visit to Jamaica

For the first time in history, the President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Andrew Parsons, will visit Jamaica from February 2-6.

Christopher Samuda, President of the Jamaica Paralympic Association, emphasizes that this visit extends beyond the ceremony. As the chief policymaker and decision-maker of the Paralympic movement, Parsons plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of adaptive sports.

Samuda affirms that the association is committed to maximizing this opportunity, fostering meaningful dialogue, and advancing Jamaica’s efforts to promote inclusivity and excellence in Paralympic sports.
