The London 2012 Paralympic Games

All aboard for London.

The Paralympic team is in training for what is expected to be a glorious London 2012 Paralympic Games.

Our Track and Field athletes will be hosted by the officials of the city of Bedfordshire which will be their training camp for 10 days prior  to their departure for the Olympic village where they will rest until competition commences.

The team is currently in training at the Mona Rehabilitation Centre which has been the Paralympic home for several years and which has fond memories of the success which characterizes the paralympic spirit of triumph.

It is at Mona that dreams are dreamt into reality and personal achievement becomes the platform for attaining glory for country, for nation. It is indeed at Mona that youth became experienced, contenders became gold medalists and record holders and history was created.

In the city of London, our athletes will find the key to success in celebrating Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary in fine style.
