At the 65th staging of the RJR/Gleaner Sports Foundation National Awards in January 2026, para-athletes Khalil Gardener and Mikayla Brown capped the male and female para sportsman and woman awards and were celebrated for their outstanding accomplishments in 2025 in the sports of athletics and archery, respectively. Witnessing the award ceremony were JPA President, Christopher Samuda, and Jamaica’s Paris 2024 Olympics 200m Bronze Medallist, Brian Levell.
